We placed them under the kitchen counters. They have a motion sensor setting which is great for quick dashes into the kitchen at night to get something. Turns on when you enter/off when you exit. They also have a an "on" button for continuous light. When they run out of power, charge them up just like your phone. Takes no time.

These lights are excellent, extremely well made with a great amount of light with the convenience of an on/off setting in addition to a motion setting. Unlike some competitors the lights attach to a metal bar that runs the entire length of the light and the magnets are very strong so you can be confident that once the light is attached it��s not going to fall, just be sure to align the bar perfectly on the underneath the cabinet as you can��t remove them without bending the metal bar which is very flexible. The lights came with some battery charge so you can verify they work, but as instructed recharge them fully before installing. I can��t comment on how long the battery charge will last, we plan to use with deducted on, not motion sensor, but it appears that the recharge time is very quick. The light is bright but does not have a glare. For the price, these are tremendous value and I feel confident will last for many years.

Second order of these. My mom seen them at my house and wants a set for hers. Motion sensor works well most of the time. Occasionally, you may have to do a little hand wave but it��s rare. Installation is easy peasy. I recommend installing near an outlet because they do need charging every few days or so depending on use. You don��t need to worry too much though, even if you dont have an outlet you can just take them down and put them back as they are magnetic. I am just really lazy. I wish they were a tad brighter for task lighting but when installed in in pairs they do a good job.

Lights were delivered fully charged. Assembly was very simple and adhesive extremely strong. Simple 3 switch, On, Off and sensory mode. Note: when on sensory mode, lights will not come on during the day with extreme light entering the room. I assembled theses lights under my kitchen cabinets where I receive alot of light during the day. This is an added plus because I wouldn't need this additional light during the day. I prefer to keep the sensory mode on so I don't have to adjust at night when I most need it to come on when I enter my kitchen. After failure with another brand that I simply threw away because I was sent weak LED lights but received full refund, and with thorough research for my next purchase, I believe I purchased the right brand. Im in love with my lights and the new look I now have in my kitchen.

I love how they choose to design this product! It's magnetic, so you first use Command-like adhesive strips to adhere a metal plate to the surface you want to hand the light from. That way when you need to charge it you just gently pull down on the light in a hassle free manner. I have used this light 1-2 times per day for three months and have needed to recharge it. The motion detection is accurate. This light comes on when it needs to (when I open the door to where my shoes are stored) and turns off quickly after I am done. I plan to buy more for under my sinks, pantry, linen closet, and any deep cabinets so that I am no longer wondering 'what did I put back there.... I think they are expensive, but worth it. My complaint about the price really stems from I just want to buy so many of them(: For reference, this is the bright white color and not the soft yellow.

Great product. We used these for underneath our kitchen cabinets and they work excellent! We love how they turn on slowly as you approach the cabinet and dim down until they go off after a few seconds. We haven��t had them long enough to comment on battery life. The light works really well as an under cabinet light or a closet light. Installing/mounting the light is really easy with the adhesives and the magnets make taking the light down for charging really simple. Also USB C charging is a big plus.

The lights in my stove hood can be too harsh so I put the light on the stove hood directly over the cooktop. It's really great the light turns on automatically for me or anyone using the cooktop. Also, when walking through the kitchen at night I don't have to turn on the ceiling light because it turns on and provides enough light without the blinding light I'd get from the ceiling light.
