What You'll Need

• LEPOTEC LED Motion Sensor Light
• Included mounting hardware (magnetic base or adhesive strips)
• Clean cloth
• Measuring tape (optional)
• Level (optional)

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Choose Your Location

Select the optimal location for your battery operated LED light:

• Under cabinets: 6-8 inches from the front edge
• Inside closets: On the ceiling or upper wall
• Hallways: 7-8 feet high on the wall
• Stairs: Along the wall at handrail height

Step 2: Prepare the Surface

Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with a dry cloth to ensure proper adhesion. The surface should be smooth, clean, and dry.

Step 3: Mount the Light

For Magnetic Mounting:

1. Attach the magnetic base to the mounting surface
2. Snap the LED light onto the magnetic base
3. Ensure secure connection

For Adhesive Mounting:

1. Remove protective backing from adhesive strip
2. Press firmly against mounting surface for 30 seconds
3. Wait 24 hours for full adhesion before use

Step 4: Test Motion Detection

Walk in front of the light to test motion detection range and adjust positioning if needed.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Light Not Turning On

• Check battery charge level
• Ensure motion sensor is not blocked
• Verify you're within detection range (6-10 feet)

Inconsistent Motion Detection

• Clean motion sensor lens
• Adjust mounting angle
• Check for interference from other devices

Short Battery Life

• Reduce sensitivity setting if available
• Ensure light turns off automatically
• Check for continuous motion triggers

Maintenance Schedule
